Concentra Urgent Care

I had the best experience at the La Mesa Concentra. This was my first time at this location and I can say hands down this was the best care I have received. The guy at the front desk was welcoming and polite. What really made me make this review was the care I got from the X-ray Technician named Rosa Turk. She greeted me with the biggest smile and made conversation. You can tell she loves what she does. In the short time that I spent with her she showed me empathy and compassion in a professional manor. You don't get that kind of care or service very often, so it was very nice to have received that care from Rosa. I left my appointment very happy and impressed with the level of care I received. I hope this location is recognized from my review and most importantly I hope Rosa gets to read my review. We need more people like you in the world. ♡ Thank you Rosa you made my day and restored my thoughts about my treatment with Concentra.

Just wanted to say mrs,Rosa the x ray tech was very very respectful to me. Very respectful with me being trans and usually no one is that nice. She is Hispanic mature woman and it can be very scary in the aspect in quality of healthcare for us trans people and she did a very great job to address me the right way and make sure I felt comfortable. Thank you !

I was very pleasantly surprised by the staffs, helpful and kind attitude. Although the wait time is absolutely ridiculous, I got really lucky and was called to the back in 15 minutes. I split my appointment into two visits and that worked best for me. The team was very helpful and uploaded my file to the computer so I could go for the second appointment to any location.

This place is insanely busy, especially at opening hour! I arrived at 0745 for a walk-in drug test and TB test for employment. I waited for 0800 opening with 8 other patients. The staff accommodated me (thanks Izabel ... hope I got your name correct) and I was out by 0917. They are highly efficient and remain caring & kind through the entire process. Thanks all, your team ROCKS!

Was there for a work related physical that was needed. Waited three hours before being seen just to be told to go back outside because there was no room after they took my weight and got other info. Once back in the room, they told me they could not complete the physical exam because I had opened toed shoes. At that time I was already very upset. I told them they could have told me this four hours ago before making me wait. She said yeah but we didn’t so you will have to come back. This place is a joke. I don’t know who they hire there but these people do not care about their patients/customers. I asked if I came back I would get priority because I completed most of the needed things with the exception of the lifting. She said no, you would have to redo everything. Luckily, I had some old boots I was going to donate in my car and I was able to complete the said physical but if you must go here, call, try to make an appointment but if not, expect to take four to five hours of your life there.
